According to some poorly worded lines your author has borrowed from the Interweeb, Japan's professional baseball league will hold an All-Star game in quake-hit Fukushima-ken in 2013 to help with the reconstruction of the area following last year's earthquake and tsunami.
While Japan - It's A Wonderful Rife is pretty sure it doesn't mean ball players will be constructing a home, it doesn't mean some won't. I've seen some pretty nice stuff come from professional athletes looking to give back to the community without it counting towards court-ordered community service.
According to (Japan) Nippon Professional Baseball Commissioner Kato Ryozo (surname first): "(This) will be the first time for Fukushima to host an All-Star game."
As most people should know, the March 11, 2011 9.0 Magnitude earthquake caused a huge tsunami which led to a near nuclear meltdown or three at the Fukushima-ken Dai-ichi nuclear plant in northeastern Japan.
As an aside, and probably because the Associated Press realized its story was way too short, the same article noted that The Japan Football Association is planning to hold a match in Fukushima-ken during this summer's Under-20 Women's World Cup. That's 'football', as in 'soccer'.

By the by... nice cubs on the Hanshin Tigers fan above. They used to be my favorite team until Nomo Hideo (surname first) started playing for the Kintetsu Buffaloes (Cecil Fielder's team - father of MLB star Prince Fielder), which no longer exist, and now are the Orix Buffaloes... whatever happened to the Orix Blue Wave (Suzuki Ichiro's [now on Seattle Mariners of MLB] first team)?
Oh well... maybe I'll cheer for the Hanshin Tigers fan.
