Okay... perhaps the title is tad misleading. I'm going to send you to another blog to check out some images from Japan that were created between 1930 and 1960, depicting some fascinating and perhaps truly horrifying inventions crazed artists and inventors hoped we might have created by now.
Some of the drawings look familiar to me... resembling actual machines, while others are still so much dream junk, with no hope of seeing the light of day until such time that SKYNET activates itself and brings about the anticipated downfall of humanity.
Still fantasy, wishful thinking or perhaps possible, the artwork on these images is stunning and well-worth the look.
