Building A Generational Rift In Japan

Just when you though things were getting better in Japan, a New York Times article from February 12, 2012 exams how a generational gap emerges as the country tries to figure out just who they are rebuilding the country for.

Check out this most excellent article relayed to myself from my good friend Matthew Hall.

Japan Rebuilt?

Here's an article from the February 9, 2012 edition of the National Post, a top Canadian newspaper, discussing how Japan has rebuilt in the past 11 months since the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami hit the Tohoku region of northeastern the country.

In most of the photos I see, it's not so much rebuilt as it is cleared of rubble. I can only hope the same holds true for the people directly affected by the disasters.

Story and a plethora of photos HERE.

Excellent stuff.

Cheers,
Andrew Joseph
